Breeze Airways does not charge change fees for most of its fare types, offering flexibility to travelers. If a flight is changed within 24 hours of booking and the departure is at least seven days away, passengers are eligible for a full refund under the U.S. Department of Transportation’s 24-hour rule. After this window, passengers who purchased Nice, Nicer, or Nicest fares can change their flights without incurring any change fee, though they must pay any difference in fare. If the new flight is cheaper, Breeze refunds the difference in the form of BreezePoints, which are valid for 24 months. However, customers who booked the No Flex fare cannot make changes after the 24-hour window. Instead, they may cancel and receive partial BreezePoints credit depending on how far in advance the cancellation is made. Cancellations made 60 or more days before departure receive full credit, while those made closer to departure receive 50%, 25%, or no credit at all. Breeze allows same-day flight changes for free on Nice, Nicer, or Nicest fares, subject to seat availability, but this is not available for No Flex fares. If Breeze cancels or significantly delays a flight, the airline allows free rebooking within seven days without additional fare charges. Changes must be made online or through the Breeze mobile app, as Breeze does not offer traditional phone-based customer service.
